Let’s welcome to some authors to Publication Pixie
Introducing Raiven Matthews, let’s all of us give her a hello and make her feel welcome as she joins the team of incredible authors who let me take care of their book babies.
Raiven Matthews lives in Northern Indiana where she is surrounded by corn fields, RV’s, and Notre Dame football. An avid reader from a young age, she discovered MM romance while reading fan fiction, and never looked back. She loves cats, her grandkids, and coffee and wine, equally. She often plots her books on her commute to her RL job, which is full of boring numbers and spreadsheets. She believes in writing happily-ever-after’s with a twist, and her books are full of heat, heart, and lots of humor.
I’ve read her first two books His Sassy Omega and His Bratty Omega both of which made me laugh, cry and left me screaming for more… And Raiven has not disappointed with His Precious Omega out now on preorder for release in January 2023 – needless to say I’ve already ordered my copy <3

Now, I know I’ve been warning those of you who follow me online, but this one is very, very different from the Fated Fantasies series. It’s much darker and not really fluffy at all, though there are some moments of sweetness between our MCs. And I made sure they got their HEA.
I had lots of fun teasing out what it might be like to live in isolation from your animal soul and how that animal might react when they come face to face with their fated one. Darius and Max go on quite the journey, first to uncover what happened to Darius to make him have such a shocking relationship with his twin soul, and then another to find the nefarious serial killer evading police for the past five or so years.
Darius must face his inner demons and find a way to make peace with his past. While Max waits patiently for him to work it out, he uncovers some of Darius’s sordid family skeletons.

Now for the news!
As some of you know, the FB gods came along just as I was gearing up for this release and shut me down, basically, I post too much, and between the promotions, my author life, events, and running a few groups, it’s been a crazy year filled with triumph and failure, learning and growth – so much growth!
This past week sent me into some deep dark places in my soul. My work is so fragile and I need a way to protect my author life which has to be my top priority.
I’m in a position now where something has to give, there is no amount of preparation that can prepare you for having a week’s worth of work and scheduling disappear with the click of a button, especially when it’s a damned bot doing the disrupting.
Regardless of what I decide to do with myself, next year, books will stay at the center, I’d like more time to dedicate to my writing and have had a few opportunities come my way which may help me do that.
I’ve almost finished with Freddy and Archies’ rewrite – The characters and overarching plot will stay the same, but I’ve tweaked and padded it. I’ve added over 6.5k words so far, and I haven’t even finished yet. So, I am hoping to have that out to you in the new year!
Those od you who bought it will be encouraged to redownload to get access to the updated story, and it will, as usual, be uploaded to kindle unlimited for those of you who read on there.
